American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Postpartum/Mother-Baby position at an academic medical center in Washington, DC, requiring verified Cerner experience and a minimum of 2 years in a postpartum or mother-baby setting.

Details

• Postpartum/Mother-Baby (PP/MB) unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes postpartum vaginal delivery, C-section, and GYN surgery patients
• Schedule is three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Verified Cerner EMR experience is required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (AHA-issued only)
• CPI certification required
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum/mother-baby experience in a U.S. hospital required
• Postpartum or Mother-Baby (not L&D) experience is specifically required for this position
• Verified Cerner EMR experience required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
• BSN highly desired
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months (at least one from most recent employer)
• Date of birth required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
