American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology position rotating between an outpatient chemo infusion clinic and an inpatient oncology unit, requiring ONS/ONCC certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

• Outpatient chemo infusion and inpatient oncology setting
• Position rotates between two sites: an outpatient chemo infusion clinic in Kennesaw, GA and an inpatient oncology unit in Atlanta, GA
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating required between the two assigned sites within scope of practice

Requirements

• Active GA RN license or compact RN license required
• ONS or ONCC certification required
• Minimum 1 year of oncology RN experience required
• Active RN license must be in hand at time of consideration
• Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• RTO maximum of 7 days for the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week
• If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO
• If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a full year before returning as a traveler
• No schedule change requests or alternate shift arrangements are permitted — the posted shift is firm
• Travel pairs may not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
• Candidates undergo a clinical review process prior to manager consideration
