American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a day shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active ME or compact RN license.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department with 23 beds
• Patient ratios of 4 to 6 patients per nurse
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend potentially required
• 13-week contract
• No on-call requirements
• Float policy requires travel between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active ME or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required; 3–5 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI (or MOAB), and NIHSS — CPI or MOAB must be in hand prior to start
• Driver's license required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Charge experience is a plus
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this at time of consideration
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (residents of Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and may have different eligibility for travel rates; local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Travel pairs or groups are not permitted for this position
• Use of AirPods, laptops, and personal cell phones on the unit is prohibited
• No scrub color requirements
