American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring advanced critical care skills including mechanical ventilation management and vasoactive drip titration.

• ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Critical care patient population requiring mechanical ventilation, arterial line monitoring, vasoactive drip management, sedation management, chest tube care, and FloTrac monitoring
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active KY state or compact RN license currently in hand — no licensure hits will be accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Hands-on ICU experience with mechanical ventilation, arterial lines, vasoactive drips, sedation protocols, and chest tubes required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates with a permanent residence within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 6 months before returning as a travel nurse
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration — RTO requests made after that point will not be approved
