American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Skilled Nursing (SNF) position in Janesville, WI, working day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

Details

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting within a hospital environment
• Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (0630–1900)
• 0.9 FTE, 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every third weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• Floating to other inpatient units may be required based on census

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Education verification required for consideration
• Prior skilled nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, including patient and family education
• Document patient care according to established standards
• Apply critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
