American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for a 13-week travel contract in Colorado, requiring an active CO CST license (DORA) and a minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience.

• Position is in a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) and Hybrid Cath Lab setting
• Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating call schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Colorado Surgical Tech (CST) license through DORA is required — candidates without this license will not be considered
• Active CO or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Certification in Surgical Technology from NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT is required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of CVOR CST experience required
• Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program
• Proof of flu vaccine required — no exemptions
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Date of birth (DOB) or Social Security Number (SSN) required for consideration
• CVOR-specific skills sheet required for consideration

Additional Information

• Work alongside a dedicated CVOR team in a Hybrid Cath Lab environment
• Colorado requires CSTs to hold an active state license through DORA — this is a firm eligibility requirement
• Note: obtaining a CO CST DORA license may take up to two weeks — candidates should begin the process immediately if not already licensed
• Local candidates are not accepted — candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
