Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 2+ years of PCU/stepdown experience and an active NH or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / stepdown setting within a hospital environment
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating may be required to sister hospital campuses in Laconia, NH and Franklin, NH
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of consideration; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of recent PCU or stepdown RN experience required
• Two recent professional references from a Manager or Charge RN (no peer or coworker references) required for consideration
• Completed skills checklist matching the PCU specialty required for consideration

Additional Information

• Orientation is provided on a weekly basis
• Former permanent staff are eligible to return as travelers after a minimum 12-month break in service
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at a local pay rate
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
