American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and proficiency with vents, ICP, and hemodynamic monitoring.

Details

• Hospital ICU setting with possible floating to IMCU or CPU
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage is required
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• EMR: Cerner/Soarian
• Specialized equipment includes ventilators, ICP monitoring, telemetry, PA lines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and Swan-Ganz catheters

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Proficiency with vents, ICP monitoring, telemetry, PA lines, balloon pumps, IV starts, and Swan-Ganz catheters required
• Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position

Additional Information

• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
• Royal blue scrubs are required and are not provided by the facility
• Minimal to no time off (RTO) will be approved during this assignment
• Candidates residing between 31–50 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced travel pay rate
