American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Geriatric Psychiatric Behavioral Health position requiring at least 1 year of experience and CPI certification, with evening shifts and holiday rotation.

Details

• Behavioral Health unit within a hospital setting, specializing in Geriatric Psychiatry
• Evening shift schedule: 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• No weekend requirements
• Holiday rotation required, typically covering 3 of the 6 major holidays
• May float to a like unit within scope as needed to meet facility needs
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Meditech for charting
• No parking costs associated with this position

Requirements

• Active RN license in Indiana (IN) or a Compact state license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

• Candidates who live within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and will receive a reduced pay rate differential
• Candidates previously employed directly by the facility within the past 12 months are not eligible without prior written approval
