American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a 13-week travel contract at an outpatient infusion center in Atlanta, GA, requiring chemo certification and a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience.

Details

• Outpatient Infusion Center setting with 65 treatment chairs
• Provides intravenous treatments to a varied patient population
• 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Charting is done in Cerner

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
• Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Administer intravenous treatments including chemotherapy to oncology patients in an outpatient setting
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
• AHA certifications must be current and not expired at the time of consideration
