American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Surgical Oncology unit at a short-term acute care hospital in Washington, with oncology experience required and night shift availability.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 325 staffed beds
• Medical Surgical Oncology unit (3rd Floor Tower)
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification required; OCN certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience required
• 3+ years of Med/Surg experience preferred
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — minimal RTO is strongly preferred
• Former permanent employees of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
