American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a night shift Main OR position at a Level II trauma center, with required neuro surgical experience including craniotomies and burr holes.

Details

• Main OR unit in a hospital setting
• Level II trauma center treating all case types except burn patients
• Surgical specialties include general, orthopedic trauma, neuro (craniotomies, burr holes, and related procedures), and basic da Vinci robotic cases
• No scrubbing required — circulating role
• Night shift schedule: Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• No on-call responsibilities — in-house with the charge RN for the full 12-hour shift
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in Idaho (ID) or a valid Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Neuro surgical experience required, including craniotomies, burr holes, and similar procedures — spine experience alone is not sufficient
• Proficiency in general and orthopedic trauma surgical cases required
• Basic da Vinci robotic surgical experience required
• COVID vaccination card required

• Circulate across a broad range of surgical cases including neuro, general, and orthopedic trauma
• Works alongside the charge RN throughout the full shift
