Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a PACU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience, with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Details

• 34-bed PACU unit within a hospital setting
• Provides pre- and post-op recovery care across specialties including gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery
• Phase one recovery patient ratio of 1:2
• 40 hours per week with varying day shifts: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Recent PACU or post-anesthesia care experience required
• Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• 2 professional references from managers required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Care responsibilities span multiple surgical specialties in a same-day surgery program environment
