Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in West Virginia, requiring at least 2 years of experience and strong circulating skills across a variety of surgical specialties.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting, Operating Room (OR) unit
• Surgical specialties include general surgery, podiatry, cataracts, OB/GYN, pain management, and oculoplasty
• Circulating experience is required for this role
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
• On-call required at least one weekend per month, with some weekday call as well
• EMR: TruBridge – Evident

Requirements

• Active WV or Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Copy of unexpired driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: 1 supervisor reference (from a permanent facility if worked there within the last 12 months) and 1 peer or additional supervisor reference (e.g., Charge RN)
• Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being eligible to reapply
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year before taking a 2-year break
• BSN is not required for this position
