Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ED RN for a fast-paced Emergency Department position requiring a MD or compact RN license with ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of 1 year of ER experience.

Details

• Work in a 47-bed Emergency Department with an average daily census of 130
• Treats all age ranges (infant to geriatric) across a wide variety of complex diagnoses
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating required within the specialty
• No pre-scheduled on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland (MD state license or compact equivalent)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and CPI
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required; 2 years preferred
• Strong ER skills and experience required for candidates with 1 year of experience
