American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring Epic experience and night shift availability at a facility in New Orleans, LA.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 5-6:1
• Experience with wound vacs, sequential compression devices (SCDs), restraints, and feeding tube pumps required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Weekend coverage required
• Holiday coverage required
• Floating required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred
• Supervisory reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• A copy of a valid Driver's License is required for consideration
• Any gaps in work history exceeding 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
