American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) position at a psychiatric facility, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and availability for night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Work is in a 337-bed inpatient psychiatric facility specializing in Trauma Disorders
• Night shift position, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required across any age population when scheduling demands
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting is done using Sunrise EMR
• Free parking is available on campus
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience required
• Driver's license (DL) and Social Security card (SSN) copies required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start

Additional Information

• RNs may be required to serve in a charge nurse role during assigned shifts
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
• Up to 1 pre-approved RTO allowed for the duration of the contract
