American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cath Lab position in a split lab environment rotating between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology, with call requirements and day shift scheduling.

Details

• Split lab environment with rotation between Cardiac, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00–17:30
• On-call requirement of approximately 9–10 call shifts per 6-week schedule, including weekends
• Weekends included in the call schedule
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• All relevant certifications must be current and copies provided for consideration
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• No special scheduling requests, alternate shifts, or schedule changes are permitted
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days and may not be requested during the first week of assignment
• Holiday coverage policy: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO allowed; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two, with one holiday RTO request eligible for review
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler
• Full compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time
