Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of IMC experience, active CO or compact RN license, and AHA certifications including ACLS and NIHSS.

Details

• Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) in a hospital setting
• Evening/night shift: 1900–0730, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 12-hour shifts
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
• Charting performed in Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of IMC or relevant specialty experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Required certifications (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — all must be active and not expire prior to start date
• TNCC preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care including health teaching, counseling, and treatment monitoring
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
