American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a major academic medical center in Maryland, requiring ICU and Cardiovascular Interventional Lab experience with on-call availability.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (CVIL) that includes both Cath and EP labs
• Patient population involves cardiac and electrophysiology interventional procedures
• Schedule is Monday–Friday with four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours), with alternating/staggered shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 8:00 AM–6:30 PM)
• No block scheduling — rotating days off with no set schedule
• On-call required on weekdays, weekends, and holidays; approximately one weekend per month (every 4th weekend) and 1–2 weekday call days
• 30-minute on-call response time required
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Cardiac or Surgical ICU required
• Cardiovascular Interventional Lab (CVIL) experience in Cath and/or EP labs required
• Moderate sedation experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration

• 13-week contract assignment
