American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Adult PACU position in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring at least 1 year of PACU experience and active RN licensure (OK or Compact).

Details

• Adult PACU unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 2 on-call shifts required per 30-day schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — all must be issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Proficiency in organizing, planning, and evaluating nursing care
• Basic computer skills required
• Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include monitoring post-anesthesia patients, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, assisting physicians, and delegating tasks to support staff
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility may reapply after a 6-month separation period following a maximum total of 26 weeks worked
• BSN is preferred but not required
