American Traveler is seeking an experienced Hospice RN for a home health/hospice position in the Spokane, WA area requiring at least 1 year of skilled hospice experience and proficiency with Home Care Home Base (HCHB).

Details

• Home health/hospice setting serving Spokane, WA and surrounding areas
• Caseload of up to 6 patient visits per day with a standard productivity expectation of 30 points
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating between all facilities within Washington state is required
• Charting via Epic and Home Care Home Base (HCHB); laptop provided
• Any basic color scrubs are acceptable

Requirements

• Active WA RN license or compact RN license (pending license accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of skilled hospice experience required
• Home Care Home Base (HCHB) experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Reliable personal transportation required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

Additional Information

• Provides in-home hospice care to patients across Spokane and surrounding areas; occasional patient visits may require travel up to 50+ miles
• The facility makes an effort to group patient visits geographically to minimize drive time
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates within a 50–75 mile radius of the facility are considered local
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests should be minimal; any RTO must be disclosed prior to submission
• Mileage reimbursement provided at the IRS standard rate
• Parking is free
