American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift MICU position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Indianapolis, IN, requiring an active IN or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• Medical ICU (MICU) in a hospital critical care setting
• Level 1 Trauma Center with additional designations as a Stroke Center of Excellence, Burn Center, ELSO-certified center, and Transplant Center
• Standard patient ratio of 2:1
• Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage required based on unit need
• Charting system: Sunrise (Allscripts)

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care nursing experience
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
• Driver's License copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• 13-week contract
• Royal blue scrubs required
