American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiothoracic Stepdown position with extensive surgical and telemetry experience, including prior VAD experience and certification required.

Details

• Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes post open heart surgery, heart transplant, LVAD, leg bypass, rib resections, and pneumonectomy
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Extensive experience with surgical patient populations and telemetry monitoring required
• Prior VAD experience and VAD certification required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
