Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with Cerner proficiency and the ability to circulate and perform C-sections for a 13-week travel assignment in New Mexico.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• Average of 6–8 OR cases per day, with a 1:1 patient-to-provider ratio
• Case mix is approximately 96% GI Endoscopy and EGD, with additional Ortho, General Surgery, Podiatry, and OB/GYN cases
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Call required every 3rd day and every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• EMR: Cerner (experience required)

Requirements

• Active NM or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Must be able to circulate in the OR
• Must be able to assist with C-sections
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Ability to stay late when patient care needs require it is expected
