American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Paducah, KY, requiring ACLS and BLS certifications with an on-call rotation that includes weekends and holidays.

Details

• Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting providing direct patient care
• Procedures performed include angioplasty, stenting, EP interventions, pacemaker placement, valve procedures, and TEE, as well as pre-admission testing
• Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, 0700–1730
• On-call rotation with the interventional team is required, covering weekday hours of 1730–0700 and full 24-hour weekend and holiday coverage (0700–0700)
• On-call days are evenly distributed among staff

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted KY or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred
• Candidate must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, patient and family education, and coordination of admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Clinical practice is guided by evidence-based standards, hospital policies, and professional nursing guidelines
• Collaborates with an inter-professional care team to coordinate individualized treatment plans
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, and documentation auditing
• Holiday on-call coverage is required as part of the standard rotation
