Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU travel assignment in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active MT or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• 12-week contract
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts

Requirements

• Active RN license in Montana or a compact state license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS (certifications must not expire prior to the assignment start date)
• PALS or NRP may be required as appropriate for the unit
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required
