Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother Baby/Postpartum position in a hospital setting, requiring an active MA RN license and prior postpartum experience.

Details

• Work in the Mother Baby unit (5 West) of a hospital setting
• 36-hour rotating schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, with rotation based on department need
• Shifts run either 7:15p–7:15a (nights) or 7:00a–7:30p (days)
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Epic used for charting
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification from AHA only
• Current NRP certification required
• Prior postpartum/mother baby nursing experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
• MA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted

Additional Information

• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at candidate's expense, and public transportation is an option
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will be placed at a reduced rate
• RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
