American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation position in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active IL RN license, working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit in a hospital setting
• High neurological patient population, including stroke patients
• Performs standard medical floor nursing care; Heparin drips are not used on this unit
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend required, covering Friday and Saturday nights
• Sundays are part of the regular work week with some scheduling flexibility available
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Stroke certification is a plus but not required

Additional Information

• Assess patients to determine physical, mental, and spiritual needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records and meet Core Measure responsibilities
• Provide patient and family education, instructions, and explanations
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
