American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN with ACLS/BLS and 2+ years of experience for a Swing Bed (Skilled Nursing) Unit night shift position in Warsaw, IN.

Details

• Located in Warsaw, IN at a community hospital
• Assignment in a Med/Surg Swing Bed (Skilled Nursing) unit with 10 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:10
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling is available
• No floating required
• Uses Cerner EMR
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• SNF experience preferred but not required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Swing Bed Unit serves a skilled nursing patient population
• Blue scrubs required
• Holiday rotation coverage is expected
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week for the duration of the contract
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
