Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for an IMC/ICU position requiring at least one prior travel assignment, ICU experience, and rotating day/night shifts.

Details

• Intermediate Care (IMC) and ICU unit in a hospital setting
• Traveler will float between the IMC and ICU units, with additional floating to Med/Surg and ED as needed
• Rotating day and night shifts (0700–1930 and 1900–0730)
• 3x12-hour shift schedule
• Every other weekend required, with 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per six-week period
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• ICU experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• Candidate will provide nursing care across both the IMC and ICU, with float responsibilities to Med/Surg and ED as needed
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted
