American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical-Surgical unit position requiring BLS certification, Epic experience preferred, and a minimum of 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience.

Details

• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Weekend work is required
• Floating within scope of practice is required
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis
• Documents in Epic EMR (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active RN license (standard or compact) required
• Current BLS certification required and must be in hand
• Minimum 1-2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Navy scrubs required
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• RTO must be approved by the manager; no more than 3 days will be auto-approved and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
