American Traveler is hiring a Chemo Certified Oncology Infusion RN for an outpatient clinic position in Minneapolis, MN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification.

Details

• Outpatient oncology infusion clinic setting
• Patient population includes oncology diagnoses, GI/GU conditions requiring infusion, OB-related nausea/vomiting regimens, research protocols, migraine protocols, antibiotic infusions, BCG, cystoscopies, and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call requirements
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to nearby affiliate locations
• Charting via Epic (Excellian) — experience required
• Block scheduling is available upon request

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• ONS or ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of oncology infusion nursing experience required
• At least 1 supervisor professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Administer a wide range of infusion therapies including chemotherapy, intrathecal agents, BCG, antibiotics, and supportive care regimens
• Pre-start modules are required to be completed before the first shift
• Navy scrubs required

• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days for the duration of the contract
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent staff or per diem must have been separated for at least 3 months from their last shift worked to be eligible
