American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position in Miles City, MT, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and at least one year of LTC experience.

Details

• Long term care unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
• 13-week contract
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only; must not expire prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of long term care RN experience required
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN or higher)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to lift objects over 100 lbs, with frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Conducts holistic, age-specific admissions assessments and develops individualized nursing plans of care
• Analyzes clinical data including labs, imaging, and diagnostics to guide care planning
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates performance of assigned CNA staff
• Coordinates discharge planning and patient/family education in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Maintains working knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare skilled criteria, and MDS documentation requirements
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
