Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week LTC/SNF night shift contract in George, Iowa, requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Long-term care / skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Every third shift worked is the night before a holiday (overnight coverage)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Post-acute care setting
• Computerized charting system used (specific EMR not listed)

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact RN license required and must be active — pending licensure not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of LTC/SNF RN experience required — no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required; copies of active certifications required (pending certifications not accepted)
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years — must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 80 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; local candidates living within 80 miles are accepted but at a different rate
