American Traveler is hiring a first-time-traveler-eligible RN Case Manager for a short-term acute care hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and the ability to float across all acute departments.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 108 total staff beds
• Case Manager unit with coverage responsibilities across all acute departments, including ICU, medical, med-surg, telemetry, observation, and ED
• Patient ratio of 1:16
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
• Weekends required on an as-needed basis
• Floating between units and facilities within the state is required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Business casual attire required for Case Managers

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care Case Manager RN experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Ability to cover any acute department within the hospital (ICU, medical, med-surg, telemetry, observation, ED)
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Active professional license at time of consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• RTO is expected to be minimal; any scheduling requests should be communicated upfront
• No parking fee at the facility
