American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Antepartum position requiring 2 years of experience, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification, and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Antepartum unit within a hospital setting
• Common patient diagnoses include preterm labor, PPROM, and pre-eclampsia
• Required drips and medications include Magnesium Sulfate, Insulin, and Heparin
• EMR: Epic and Perigen
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• On-call required: one 12-hour call shift per schedule
• Floating is required — travelers are first to float, with possible floating to sister campuses located 15–20 minutes away
• Block scheduling is not available for this position

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• Minimum 2 years of antepartum or related RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required; Perigen experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Candidate's DL address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — this rule is strictly enforced and includes ownership of or association with any property within the radius

Additional Information

• Nurses begin orientation on a Friday, which includes remote orientation and an in-person visit to the facility for badge/ID — candidates must be available and in the area on that day
• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into the unit culture
• Royal blue scrubs are required; printed scrub tops are permitted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and will not be approved after an offer is made
• Copies of all certifications and proof of nursing school accreditation from an approved accrediting body (ACEN, CNEA, CCNE, or FL DOH list) are required for consideration
