American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a flex coverage role across multiple Hawaii facilities, including a hospital and outpatient clinic settings.

Details

• Flex coverage role providing imaging services across multiple facilities, including a main medical center, a community hospital, and an outpatient clinic
• Procedures include diagnostic radiography using DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
• Variable shift schedules depending on facility assignment: 8-hour and 10-hour shifts at the main medical center, 12-hour shifts at the community hospital, and five 8-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday) at the outpatient clinic
• Average of 3 on-call days per month
• Epic EMR experience preferred; experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, and Konica DR preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
• Current ARRT certification and BLS/BCLS required
• Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
• Demonstrated proficiency operating DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
• Ability to function independently without supervision
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and proper dosimetry badge usage

Additional Information

• Candidates must arrive on the island the Friday before their Monday start date to complete required Employee Health and HR clearance appointments, which are scheduled 48–72 hours prior to assignment start
• Performs diagnostic imaging across multiple care settings, adapting to varying equipment and workflows at each facility
• Dosimetry badge is required and must be worn on assignment
