American Traveler is hiring a Lead Cath Lab Technologist for a cardiac cath lab position requiring 3+ years of procedural experience and active ARRT and Kentucky licensure.

Details

• Position is based in a cardiac cath lab within an acute care hospital setting
• 3x12-hour day shifts per week with call requirements
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab / procedural experience
• Associate's degree in Radiology or a related field
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License required if applicable
• MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serves as a lead technologist, coordinating daily patient flow including patients, staff, and physicians in the cardiac cath lab
• Provides oversight and support for staff accountability, training, and onboarding of new employees
• Actively participates in training new staff on equipment functionality and procedures
• Maintains professional relationships with coworkers, physicians, and internal and external stakeholders
• Communicates staff and operational issues to the Director of Cardiovascular Services and unit Manager
• Assists with staff selection and competency evaluations
• Exercises professional judgment in adjusting staffing roles and ensuring appropriate patient care management
