Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced travel RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring a MD or compact RN license, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of experience with prior travel experience.

Details

• Work in a 30-bed (22-room) Cardiac Telemetry unit (3W)
• Patient population includes telemetry patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, primary stroke/TIA, and stable cardiac cath patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as scheduled
• Floating required within specialty and to lower acuity units as needed
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license for Maryland (MD) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac telemetry RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Equipment used includes Zebra portable phones, Alaris IV pumps, and Covidien feeding pumps
• Navy blue scrubs required
