American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience, NRP, and AWHONN or C-EFM certification for a night shift contract in Lafayette, CO.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three days per week (36 hrs/week)
• Weekend requirement of 10 weekend shifts per 8-week period (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights count toward this requirement)
• On-call requirement of 1–3 call shifts per 8-week period
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of L&D nursing experience required
• Required certifications (must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to start): BLS, NRP, and either AWHONN or C-EFM
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient life and well-being
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• 18-week contract
