American Traveler is seeking an experienced Wound Care RN (BSN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital, with WOCN certification and a minimum of 2 years of wound care experience required.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Wound Care unit within an 865-bed Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
• Floating required to sister facilities on like units only; no floating within the facility
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of WOCN RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA only) and WOCN (continence certification not required)
• Pediatric wound care experience is highly preferred
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; approval is based on unit and manager needs
• Pre-start orientation modules are required to be completed prior to the assignment start date
• Facility provides scrubs
• Parking is free on day shifts; a one-time $20 parking pass is required for nights and weekends
