Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level 1 maternity unit in Ohio, requiring more than 3 years of OB experience and advanced fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Acute care setting in a Level 1 maternity unit in Ohio
• Unit serves Labor & Delivery, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum care
• Unit includes 4 L&D rooms and 6 postpartum rooms, averaging approximately 30 deliveries per month
• All staff are cross-trained across labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
• EMR system is TruBridge/Evident; charting also performed in Centricity and CPSI
• Day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• More than 3 years of OB/Labor & Delivery experience required
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• 24 hours of orientation provided
