Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in the Dallas, TX area, with a preference for circulating experience and orthopedic/laparoscopic procedure background.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital surgical/operating room unit
• Procedures include orthopedic (total knees, hips, shoulders & ankles), podiatry, GYN, and general/laparoscopic cases
• Day/mid shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call is required per unit needs, including rotating call 1–2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience preferred, with at least 1 year in the specialty
• Circulating experience preferred; scrub experience is a plus
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Circulating is the primary focus of this role; scrubbing ability is considered a bonus
• Hospital provides scrubs for OR use; any color scrubs are also acceptable
