American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring at least 1 year of IR experience and on-call availability on a Monday–Friday day schedule.

Details

• Interventional Radiology (IR) unit in a hospital setting
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 0800–1630
• Responsible for hemodynamic monitoring during procedures
• On-call required Monday–Friday (1600–0730), averaging 4–5 call shifts per month
• On-call required Saturday and Sunday (0730–0730), averaging 3–4 call shifts per month
• 1–2 holidays on-call required per contract
• No floating required
• EMR: Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts); no prior experience required — noted to be very similar to Cerner

Requirements

• Active MO or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience required; ICU RNs with conscious sedation experience and strong Critical Care drug proficiency may be considered
• Two professional references required for consideration
• New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

• Cath Lab experience, scrub experience, and prior IR call experience are preferred
• Orientation spans approximately 5 days: facility-wide orientation (Days 1–2), department and clinical orientation (Days 3–4), and computer/systems training (Day 5)
