American Traveler is hiring an LPN with LTC experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a state veterans home in Hawaii, providing skilled nursing care to a veteran patient population.

Details

• Long-term care facility serving a veteran patient population
• Performs assessments, treatments, medication administration, gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care
• Scheduled for variable shifts based on census and facility need
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Current Hawaii LPN license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required
• LTC setting experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required prior to start

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient admissions and discharges, ADL assistance, wound care, and communication of pertinent information to MD/NP
• Candidates must arrive the Thursday prior to the assignment start date to complete an employee health appointment on Friday
• Flu vaccination may be administered at the employee health clearance appointment if needed
