American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR circulator experience across orthopedics, OB/Gyn, and general surgery, with on-call weekend responsibilities.

Details

• Hospital OR setting with potential floating to procedural areas including pain management and interventional radiology
• Orthopedic, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery case mix
• Schedule is days, 4x10-hour shifts with variable start times
• On-call requirement of 8 shifts per month, including some weekends (Friday 5pm–Monday 7am)
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
• Epic EMR experience is highly preferred

Requirements

• Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of OR circulator experience with orthopedics, OB/Gyn (including C-sections), and general surgery
• Scrub experience is not required
• New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

• 2+ years of OR experience preferred; previous travel nursing experience is a plus
• Virtual orientation is held every Monday
• Nicotine-free facility
• Local candidates are accepted; however, local candidates may be expected to convert to a permanent position
• Candidates within 60 miles of the Great Bend campus are subject to a radius restriction and may not be eligible
