American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Elizabethtown, KY, requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications with evening/night shift availability and weekend and holiday rotation.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department providing urgent and emergency medical care
• Evening/night shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM), 12-hour shifts
• Schedule is 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a Compact state currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC, and TNCC
• Minimum education: ADN or ASN (BSN preferred)
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Proficiency with computer systems and clinical applications
• Date of birth (MM/DD) and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and implementing nursing interventions within RN scope of practice
• Facilitates patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, including coordinating discharge teaching with Case Management
• Collaborates with an inter-professional care team to individualize treatment plans and delegate tasks appropriately
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, and documentation audits
• BSN is preferred but not required
