American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Psychiatric/Behavioral Health position at a 164-bed acute care hospital in Carmel Hamlet, NY, with a strong preference for geriatric experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 164-bed acute care hospital setting
• Behavioral health/psychiatric unit
• Floating required between two med-surg floors
• Geriatric patient population preferred

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NY RN license required (a screenshot or photo of a completed application is acceptable if the license is pending)
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Crisis Management Training Certification required, administered by CPI or Northwell
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• PMH-BC (Board Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing through ANCC) preferred
• 3+ years of RN experience preferred
• Experience with geriatric patients strongly preferred
• Two professional references from previous managers rated 'standard or above average' required for consideration

• Only AHA-issued BLS certifications are accepted
