American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Postpartum position in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and active Epic proficiency.

Details

• Inpatient Mother-Baby unit providing postpartum, antepartum, and gynecological care to a high-risk patient population
• Well newborn care provided as part of a rooming-in service
• Patient ratios are state-mandated: 1:3 for stable normal couplets and 1:2 for couplets with complications (e.g., late preterm, maternal magnesium sulfate use)
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Floating to a nearby affiliate hospital may be required for candidates with labor skills; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in postpartum, antepartum, or LDRP setting required
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• COVID-19 vaccination proof required; no exemptions accepted
• Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required (Charge RN references are not acceptable)

Additional Information

• Preferred certifications include Maternal Newborn Certification, Inpatient Obstetric Certification, and IBCLC (International Board of Certified Lactation Consultant)
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate; no radius restriction applies
• Candidates who are former employees or previous travelers at this facility must provide a reference from the OHSU manager who supervised them
• Candidates must have been away from this facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration and may not exceed 2 weeks
